從聖心教堂走下來，會看到這間賣朱古力和馬卡龍的小店。本來看到catalog的 cheesecake味才進去，卻發現原來該天沒有。

 

 

 

可能見我一臉失望，店員就端來馬卡龍我試食，味道口感還蠻不錯。突然外面下起雨了，於是就決定跟一杯朱古力一杯 cafe au lait三粒macron待在店裡。


熱朱古力甘香醇厚，比Angelina的 悠和，不會喝幾口就感到膩；咖啡則一般。三款macaron分別是櫻桃，焦糖薑和薰衣草杏桃味。

Choc chaud (Euro 3.50)  Cafe au lait (Euro 2.00)

 

 

Macaron外殼微脆帶煙韌。(Euro 1.50)

 

櫻桃  morello cherry

 

 

沒有香精或糖水味，中間有果蓉。

 

 

焦糖薑 caramel ginger

 

 

先會嘗到焦糖的甜味，吃到最後有點點薑的餘韻，非常特別。

 

薰衣草杏桃 lavender & apricot

 

薰衣草味不重，杏桃味倒是挺香，很有夏天的感覺。真沒想到這樣也給我找到好吃的macaron！

Paris Day One

It has been SUCH  a long time since I posted any reviews, sorry about that! But if you were me, you would not have the time to write any too!

So where have I been in the past month?

You guess it right! Traveling! (No, not dieting silly!...though I probably should be now...)

My first stop is Paris and it is the most beautiful city I have ever been to. The city is elegant yet modern at the same time.

superb deep-dished quiche

Chibouste aux Fruits Rouges
The chibouste is light and creamy, with the burnt caramelized layer on the top, I feel like I'm eating an airy creme brûlée. Love the crispy tart shell and almond cake filling with raspberry bits.

Savarin Chantilly
The boozy savarin pastry is kind of bread-like and spongy, nicely soaked with dark rum but not a tad soggy. The chantilly cream is feathery and milky, which compliments the savarin nicely.
